Tour Overview

The Kinale Hills—often described as a “miniature” version of Mount Longonot—offer a rewarding day hike across diverse terrain. Located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, adjacent to the Kikuyu Escarpment, the hills rise to about 2,500 meters above sea level. This is a point-to-point hike, starting near Mai Mahiu and finishing at Soko Mjinga along the Nairobi–Nakuru highway, combining open ridges, sweeping viewpoints, and a forest descent through Kinale Forest.
