Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli
You will be picked from the hotel in the morning and depart Nairobi driving to Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa highway. The park captivates every visitor’s attention with its free roaming giant Elephants against a backdrop of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro which dominates the landscape and open plains. The acacia woodlands and grasslands of the park shelter an abundance of game including Cape buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Hyena, Zebra and Wildebeest. The park lays below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your hotel before having a sumptuous meal lunch, followed by a short rest. Shortly afterwards you will for your evening sunset game drive at 4pm. Later return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli
After breakfast you will leave with picnic lunch and proceed on a full day of game viewing within the park. There are over 900 African Elephants in Amboseli, Giraffes and Lions, variety of monkeys, common Zebras, Hyenas, and antelopes among others. Amboseli has a mixed topography of plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps and marshes.
You will have a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather is favorable. You can leave the park late in the afternoon and enjoy a swim at the lodge or just relax and view the mountain and the beautiful scenes surrounding. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast check out and proceed to Nakuru passing through the Great Rift Valley. A brief stopover for pictures as you enjoy the breathtaking scenes. Have lunch on arrival and later on have an easy game drive as you enjoy the serenity of Lake Nakuru. The physical part of this park is an ideal place for wildlife spotting as it offers sanctuary to 56 species of native African mammals and occasionally, the most elusive predator, leopards. It is perhaps the only place in Kenya to find the Rothschild’s Giraffe. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 4: Nakuru – Samburu
After breakfast you will check out and leave Lake Nakuru and head north to Samburu national Reserve, which is on the fringes of the semi-arid northern frontier district of Kenya. The extensive tracts of grassland, acacia savanna and thorn bush are broken up by strips of lush riverine woodland, whilst in many areas multiple-trunked doum palms further enhance the scenery. The reserve is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Gravy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (also referred as Samburu Special). We will arrive in time for lunch before checking in, have a sumptuous meal and get ready to enjoy a sunset evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 5: Samburu
On this day you can have an early breakfast and set out to enjoy a morning game drive, it usually gets hot here so the earlier the better. Very likely to enjoy the sights of the giant African Elephants and other animals as they come by the Ewaso Nyiro river to quench thirst and cool down. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an equally important attraction (Kamunyak the Miracle Lioness that adapted the baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve). Lunch at the lodge and a relaxed afternoon before setting out for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 6: Samburu-Ol Pejeta (Sweet Waters)
After breakfast you will check out and leave for a morning game drive as you exit the park to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This is a 24,000-acre private Conservancy which is home to a variety of wildlife, bird species, and flora. It has a waterhole that is floodlit by night thereby providing an exotic game viewing experience. One of the highlights will be a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and refuge to over 40 species of black rhinos. Here you’ll also have a chance to visit Baraka the blind Rhino besides enjoying a game drive with a likelihood of spotting most of the wildlife here. If the weather allows you’ve a great chance of viewing Mt. Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Sweet waters Serena camp.

Day 7: Ol Pejeta – Naivasha
After breakfast you will check out and do a morning game drive as you exit. Drive to Naivasha passing through the equator. Pass through Thompson falls and can briefly take photos of one of the largest and very scenic water falls in Kenya. Have lunch on arrival and get ready for Hells Gate National Park. This is one of the most scenic parks in Kenya where you can cycle, walk or drive alongside the animals. Enjoy a nature walk to the very scenic gorges. Exit the park before dark and drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 8: Naivasha – Maasai Mara
After breakfast you will check out and leave Naivasha area and head to Maasai Mara for a three nights stay. The Mara ecosystem hosts the highest concentration of wild animals per square km than any other park in the region. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition – this is optional though. Discover why, enjoy lunch on arrival before an evening game drive later. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 9/10: Maasai Mara
This two days after breakfast you leave with picnic lunch for an unlimited game drive in the reserve. Maasai Mara has a lot to offer and it’s a park that you have an opportunity to see all the Big Five at a very close range and in plenty of numbers. You will have your picnic lunch at the hippo’s pool or any other ideal site within the reserve as you view wildlife in close proximity. Later we can arrange a visit to a Maasai village to meet the local villagers, see their lifestyle and learn about their culture. This is an exciting way to meet and experience the indigenous people of the area- this visit, however is optional and at an extra fee paid separately. Return to the camp/lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Maasai Mara-Nairobi
Following an early morning sunrise game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for breakfast, check out and leisurely start the journey to Nairobi. Arriving in the afternoon, you will be dropped off to your hotel for an overnight stay or at the airport for your home-bound flight.
