Day 3:

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe After breakfast, go for a morning game drive in the park to see any missed wildlife and bird species. Depart from the park and drive back to Entebbe, stopping at the Mabamba Swamp to search for the elusive Shoebill, which is found in the papyrus swamps. Other birds to look out for include the Purple Swamphen, the Allen’s Gallinule, and the White-faced Whistling Duck. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon.

This itinerary can be customized to your preferences, and you may also add more days to explore other birdwatching sites in Uganda, such as Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, and Kibale Forest National Park. Additionally, it’s always a good idea to bring a bird guidebook, binoculars, and a camera with a good zoom lens to enhance your birdwatching experience.
