All about the 7 Days Birdwatching Tour.

Day 1: Entebbe to Mabamba Swamp Depart early from Entebbe and drive to Mabamba Swamp, a RAMSAR wetland located on the shores of Lake Victoria. This swamp is home to the elusive Shoebill, which is best seen on a canoe ride through the papyrus swamps. Other birds to look out for include the Purple Swamphen, the Allen’s Gallinule, and the White-faced Whistling Duck. After birding, drive to your accommodation in Kampala.
Day 2: Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park After breakfast, depart from Kampala and drive to Kibale Forest National Park, which is home to over 350 bird species. On arrival, go for an afternoon birding walk in the forest, where you can look out for special birds such as the Green-breasted Pitta, the African Grey Parrot, and the Black Bee-eater.
Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park Spend the whole day birdwatching in Kibale Forest National Park. Look out for special birds such as the African Pitta, the Yellow-billed Barbet, and the Narina Trogon. You may also see other primates such as chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, and black-and-white colobus monkeys.
Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park After breakfast, depart from Kibale Forest National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which offers great birdwatching opportunities, including the African Fish Eagle, Great White and Pink-backed Pelicans, and the African Skimmer. After the boat cruise, go for an evening game drive to see other wildlife such as elephants, lions, and buffalos.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park Spend the whole day birdwatching in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look out for special birds such as the African Green Broadbill, the Papyrus Gonolek, the African Finfoot, the Shoebill, and the Martial Eagle. You may also see other wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and antelopes.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park After breakfast, depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is home to over 350 bird species. On arrival, go for an afternoon birding walk in the forest, where you can look out for special birds such as the African Green Broadbill, the Yellow-eyed Black Flycatcher, and the Bar-tailed Trogon.
Day 7: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to Entebbe After breakfast, go for a morning birding walk in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Look out for special birds such as the African Emerald Cuckoo, the African Wood Owl, and the Handsome Francolin. Depart from the park and drive back to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for photo opportunities. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon.
