Day 1 Amboseli National Park. Distance – 216 km, Time app4.5 hours
Early morning you will be met and picked up by our driver/guide and hit the road, enjoy a leisurely drive down to Amboseli National Park. The Park shelters more than 420 species of birds and has enormous Elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch is served at the lodge, before departing for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.
Day 2 Explore Amboseli National Park
This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. A visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another game drive. Amboseli is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen. Maasai warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.
Day 3 Amboseli– Drive to Nairobi. Distance – 216 km, Time app 4.5 hours
Another early morning game viewing drive in the park,the sunrise casts Kilimanjaro in a fantastic light, turning its snows pink andits mountainside a deep purple that has to be seen to be believed. Return tolodge for breakfast then embark on a leisurely drive back to Nairobi in timefor lunch in a hotel then relax at your apartment later on.Overnight at HotelMeal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch}
Day 4 Explore Nairobi National Park.
Set on the City’s southern outskirts this unique wildlife sanctuary is tucked just 10 kilometers away from the bustling City Centre. Several animal species roam within this park including four members of the big five, exceptional being the elephant. Animals to be found here include; lions, leopards, zebras, rhinos, wildebeests, and other species including beautiful bird life. Overnight at Hotel Meal Plan {lunch at nearby hotel}
Day 5 Nairobi– Maasai Mara National Reserve. Distance 240 km, Time app 5 hrs.
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Travel through the Maasai country occasionally coming across Maasai herdsmen with their livestock living harmoniously with the wildlife. After lunch at your residence lodge a game run is planned in these vast rolling grasslands. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with Wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition – this is optional though. During our stay we also visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Day 6 Discover Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in this magnificent Park. Maasai Mara is famous for the Annual Wildebeest Migration that takes place between the months of July and October. During this time over a million wildebeests accompanied by thousands of other herbivores, migrate from Serengeti National Park to the Mara in search for greener pastures. Hundreds of lions and hyenas follow them picking on the old and weaker ones. The legendary black mane lion is only found in Maasai Mara. The cheetah hunts best in these open grasslands. Day 7 Maasai Mara – Drive to Nairobi. Distance 240 km, Time app 5 hrs.
An early morning game drive is planned before returning to your lodge for a proper sit down English breakfast. With breakfast done,we leisurely embark on our journey to Nairobi lunch enroute before arriving at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your International flight. End of tour
