Mt Suswa Hike

Mt Suswa is a magnificent extinct volcano in the Rift Valley. It is famed for the many caves on its E slopes, which are all easy to access and none are too long or complex. No special gear or knowledge is required to explore these systems.

Activities: Hiking, caving, bird watching & site seeing.
Preparations: Wear comfortable shoes & clothing. A cap, headlight sunglasses and sun screen will also come in handy to shield you from the sun. Also carry extra drinking water, pair of binoculars, walking stick & camera
Distance from Nairobi- it takes 2-3hrs to drive from Nairobi to the inner crater hiking starting point, so it is advisable to leave early if you plan to do all the activities (hiking 2356mts & caving)
