I travelled four times with Peter Wairasho between January 2019 and November 2023 on Individual Bird Photography Tours; each between 2 and 4 weeks. Peter brought the wanted Landcruiser with pop up-roof and all windows fully to be opened. He drove that car like a professional driver. We went to many of the NPs to find the birds of my target list. And he found them! I had the impression he knows all of the estimated 1100 species in Kenya, as well in their taxonomic names. Peter Wairasho is a well known birder in Kenya, many times participating in the yearly ringing actions in Tsavo West (Ngulia Lodge). He has a good sense of humor and patience with Bird Photographers which is not very common with many Bird Guides.
