Day 1:
Arrival in Arusha Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the altitude.

Day 2:
Arusha National Park In the morning, drive to Arusha National Park, which is home to over 400 bird species, including the beautiful Hartlaub’s Turaco, the endemic Tanzania Red-billed Hornbill, and the rare African Crowned Eagle. Enjoy a game drive in the park and take a guided walk in the montane forest to see some of the park’s unique birdlife.

Day 3:
Tarangire National Park After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and a diversity of bird species. The park has over 550 bird species, including the endemic Yellow-collared Lovebird, the Ashy Starling, and the Rufous-tailed Weaver. Take a game drive in the park and enjoy birdwatching opportunities along the Tarangire River.

Day 4:
Lake Manyara National Park Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions and a variety of bird species. The park has over 400 bird species, including the Pink-backed Pelican, the Lesser Flamingo, and the African Spoonbill. Take a game drive in the park and enjoy birdwatching opportunities along the lake shore.

Day 5:
Serengeti National Park After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves. The park has over 500 bird species, including the endemic Grey-breasted Spurfowl, the Kori Bustard, and the Secretarybird. Take a game drive in the park and enjoy birdwatching opportunities in the acacia woodlands and grasslands.

Day 6:
Serengeti National Park Enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park, with ample birdwatching opportunities throughout the day. Look out for raptors, such as the Martial Eagle, the African Fish Eagle, and the Bateleur Eagle. You may also see a variety of vultures, storks, and cranes.

Day 7:
Ngorongoro Crater Drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Tanzania to see the rare and endangered Eastern Black Rhino. The crater is also home to over 400 bird species, including the endemic Rufous-tailed Weaver, the Hildebrandt’s Francolin, and the Rosy-breasted Longclaw. Enjoy a game drive in the crater and take in the stunning views of the landscape.

Day 8:
Departure Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
