Day 1: 

Arrive in Moshi and rest at a hotel.

Day 2: 

Begin the climb on the Marangu Route. Hike to Mandara Hut (8,858 feet) and spend the night there.

Day 3: 

Hike to Horombo Hut (12,201 feet) and spend the night there.

Day 4: 

Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut.

Day 5: 

Hike to Kibo Hut (15,430 feet) and spend the night there.

Day 6: 

Begin the summit attempt at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak (19,341 feet) at sunrise. Descend to Horombo Hut to spend the night.

Day 7: 

Descend to the park gate and then drive back to Moshi.
